Dan-Dwayne Spencer loves having morning coffee with his wife while watching a sunrise glow across the flat Texas High Plains. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and in his early days he has been a commercial artist for various printers and art services on the high plains. Now, a retired school teacher of 24 years and at one time an Art Director for two Texas news channels, KLBK and KAMC, he says his art has two purposes. One purpose is pure entertainment and the second is to be a single voice among the cries of modern culture. Currently he divides his time between drawing and writing. He is an author with 21 published works, novels, novellas, and short stories in print.
